Rick Beemer is a pastor of Ridgewood and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1990. In 2002, Rick was trained in and began using Theophostic Healing Prayer as part of his counseling practice. Since then, he has traveled to churches in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, and Virginia both to minister and to train others who are developing Healing Prayer Ministries.

Rick has ministered over 5000 hours using Theophostic Healing Prayer. He has presented seminars on counseling and healing prayer at the Faithwalkers Conference and at annual Pastor and Staff Conferences of the Great Commission Association of Churches. Rick has also been trained in and taught Listening for Heaven's Sake, a communication skills program of Equipping Ministries International.
