Why Should I Listen?

 * Just Agree with the Boss

 * Pay Attention and I Won’t Miss Out

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. 	2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT

Use the truth to make them holy. Your word is truth. 	John 17:17 NIrV

For the word of God is living and active... It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are. 	Hebrews 4:12 NIV, NLT

How can a young person keep his life pure? By living in keeping with your word. I trust in you with all my heart. Don't let me wander away from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart so that I won't sin against you. 			Psalm 119:9-11 NIrV

Keep my words and store up my commands within you. ...guard my teachings as the apple of your eye... write them on the tablet of your heart. 	Proverbs 7:1-3 NIV


 * God Will Make My Life Secure

Anyone who comes and listens to me and obeys me is like someone who dug down deep and built a house on solid rock.  	Luke 6:47-48 CEV

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. 	Psalm 119:105 NIV


 * Watch God in Action

Those who obey my commandments are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them, and I will love them. And I will reveal myself to each one of them. 	John 14:21 NLT

Never stop reading this Book of the Law. Day and night you must think about what it says. Make sure you do everything that is written in it. Then things will go well with you. And you will have great success. 	Joshua 1:8 NIrV
