The beginning of Philippians is interesting in that it sets up the
theme of working together that we see throughout this letter. So if you
only remember that, and work at doing it (together!), we'll all be in
great shape from this teaching. Join together, work together, struggle
together. One of the guys in Phillipi is even named Genuine Co-Worker
(Syzygos). So this week we'll take a look at four Action Steps to be a
Great Team Together that are exemplified right in the beginning of the
book.

HOW TO BE PART OF A GREAT TEAM

* WORK TOGETHER EFFECTIVELY

* EMBRACE THE MASTER PLAN

Am I hesitant to be open?
Do I prefer my independence?
Do I choose other time commitments?
Are we not on the same page?


* MAKE PROGRESS BY TAKING CLEAR AIM

9And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in
knowledge and depth of insight, 10so that you may be able to discern
what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,
11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus
Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11 NIV

The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled
with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine
